The Coleman 600 lumen LED lantern with BatteryGuard stops the discharge so you have light when you need it. Conventional battery-powered lanterns consume residual energy as long as the batteries are connected to the circuit, even when the device is switched off. With BatteryGuard technology, batteries are automatically disconnected from the circuit when the lantern is switched off, extending their life by up to 25%. This technology also reduces the risk of corrosion damage, so batteries can remain in the device for years (until their expiry date). Other features include: single switch, up to 30 hours operation on 3 D-cell batteries (sold separately), waterproofing, impact resistance up to 2 m (on earth) and LED bulbs that never need replacing. Whatever the situation, from power outages to emergencies on the whole, this BatteryGuard lantern with 7 m beam provides power when you need it.
